Virtual Courses
Internet
To participate in our virtual courses, you must have high-speed internet access. We recommend that you use a desktop computer or laptop and that it be hard wired to the internet instead of using wi-fi.
Recommended Minimum Speeds for participants
- 10 Mbps download
- 1 Mbps upload
Speed can be tested by going to https://www.speedtest.net/ and marking down the speed.
These are optimal requirements (guidelines) but you are able to register for a virtual course, understanding that you are responsible for any connectivity issues. We will do our best to troubleshoot, but cannot manage connectivity for participants and cannot let issues impede the course for other participants. You are responsible for your own device and internet connection. WETT does not assume responsibility for poor connections.
A camera is required, as you must be visible to the instructor throughout the entire class, including writing the exam. Cell phone use will not be allowed during the exam. To avoid any difficulties, we recommend that you use a laptop or desktop computer, not an iPad or other tablet.
